Scarlet Grains is strategic labyrinth game. The object is to pick up a set number of coins to open the exit to the next level. But beware, danger lurks at ever turn (see UNITS below).
Each level has many possible solutions, from the straightforward to the diabolical. Scarlet Grains features vibrant hi-resolution graphics, soothing sound, and other exciting effects.

1.Game Control:
(arrows).....move/launch bomb (if charged)
..(space).....charge bomb
.....(F1).....pause
.....(F2).....save game.
.....(F3).....load game.
.....(F4).....self-destruct
.....(F5).....Sound on/off
.....(F10)....exit.

2. Description of UNITS:

Scarlet
grains:
This feral beast is mightier than the player, avoid direct contact! The Grains may be destroyed with falling Stones or Genetic Bombs. A killed Grain produces extra Coins.

Pomegranate:
When a Pomegranate senses the player within its proximity, it will pulsate and rupture into Scarlet Grains. However, if you are quick enough, you can charge into it to deactivate it before it releases Grains. NOTE: Sometimes you'll need the extra Scarlet Grains a Pomegranate produces to crush and create coins.

Can Of Power:
The Can Of Power contains one Genetic Bomb. The player can only carry one Genetic Bomb at a time, but picking up a second Can Of Power will reward you with an extra life!

Genetic Bomb:
A devastating weapon -- it destroys everything except walls and exits. Fortunately, the player is not affected by the blast of a Genetic Bomb. You must collect Cans Of Power to obtain Genetic Bombs.
Use of Genetic Bombs:
Press the spacebar and "BMB" will appear in the Heads-Up Display when the Bomb is charged. Then press an arrow key to launch the Bomb in that direction. If you change your mind and decide not to unleash its fury, simply press space again to deactivate it for later use.

WARNING: Bombs shatter into explosive fragments which in turn also explode, causing violent, and sometimes deadly, chain reactions. Use caution when detonating these powerful devices.

Wall :
An indestructable and immovable barrier.

Ground:
A temporary barrier the player can dig through by moving into it. Ground is also destroyed with genetic bombs.

Stones:
Stones may be pushed but never pulled and will roll off each other when stacked. The player must be careful not to be crushed by falling stones or to allow them to barricade the exit or important passageways. Rocks can also be used to smash the Scarlet Grains roaming the maze, which explode into an array of coins. NOTE: Only one stone can be pushed at a time.

Coins:
Collecting the shimmering coins is your primary objective, but beware: They can also kill you they fall onto your head. Collect coins by running into them.

Exit:
The portal to the next level, Exits only reveal themselves when the necessary numbers of coins have been collected.
