The classic game of Battleship has grown up! Ships move, World War 1 submarines dive, and minesweepers sweep for mines. A simple upgrade system allows you to advance your ships as the game goes on. Choose from 5 periods in naval history as you fight single or multi-battle wars. All beautifully animated in 3D. For 1 to 2 players

Sinking ships means more points for the other side's score. Depending on the battle, you can sometimes gain extra bonus points when targeting or attacking with certain ships in this naval combat game.

Battleship Chess is a naval simulation game, similar to a chess game, where you move warships instead of chess pieces.
But unlike chess pieces, these ships have teeth. Each warship may have several weapon systems to fire upon the enemy. Like chess, it's a 2 player game. Play against the computer, with 3 difficulty levels, or play another person over the network or at the same computer (hotseat).

Get a good view of the board. Notice the various icons scattered around the board. These are special zones. A destroyer has just landed on the wrench icon and had its torpedo tubes repaired.

Battleship Chess also has elements of the classic Battleship game, where your opponent's ships are hidden and you have to find them.
But this time, you can use your mobile fleet to hunt them down. Beware of submerged World War 1 submarines! Better have those sonar-equipped destroyers close by to drop their depth charges on them.

You can easily rotate the board and zoom in on the action. This computer wargame's interface provides you with plenty of information to keep you informed.

Battleship Chess adds the ability to play cards to help you win battles.
Do you play that mine card now or later? There's lots of cool cards to discover. As you improve, you're given the ability to upgrade your fleet using upgrade cards. Want to turn a world war 1 submarine into a world war 2 submarine? A battlecruiser into a fast battleship? Just play your upgrade cards right. Go for a balanced fleet or a few uber-ships. Sinking more ships give you access to more upgrade cards.
