Ultra Assault

Ultra Assault is one of those shooters that stands out from the rest. The game includes all the classic shooter features you love: multiple kinds of ship upgrades, varied enemies, big explosions and fun end bosses to duke it out with. What sets it apart is how well it combines all these factors into a really fun game.
Add on to all that is a level editor where you can design your own levels. Take all the cool features of the game and basically give yourself endless game play, limited only by your own creativity. You can even load up levels created by other players! The regular version of the game includes 6 large levels, full of powerups and a boss to fight at the end of each.

Some of the powerups you can pick up include:
Speed enhancements - needed to dodge enemy attacks
Extend - adds guns to your ship to blow up enemies easier
Lasers - more powerful version of guns
Sentry - targets incoming shots and blows them up
Shield - extra protection for your ship
Missiles - extra firepower

Smart Bomb - ultra weapon to devestate large groups of enemies
Ultra Assault also lets you play in Score Attack mode. Start the game at the easiest level and go as far as you can until you die. Beating the game makes you start over at a harder level. Score high enough and you can get into the Hall of Fame online scoring system.
